Yeah, I thought so - here you go.

Kinja'd!!!

And check out the sound at idle, around the 1:30 mark of the video:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

This car is completely silly - and looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

Man. I saw the pic, heard the choppy idle, and I swear my brain conjured up the smell of exhaust with unburnt leaded gas in it. I need it.

I just looooooove the low rumble of a big displacement V8 at idle like that.

I wasn’t actually looking for one, but now I really want one.

I don’t like the shifter and the pushbutton start, but otherwise I like it.

Wondering if I could get the 4L80E to work with the column shifter- and get some better wheels, too.

This won’t be big $ either.

I think you may need look like and dress like a “mean Elvis” to drive this. Like Kurt Russel & Kevin Costner in 3000 Miles to Graceland

I would swap the wheels for something stock looking and ditch the floor shift, but yeah, I like it too!

I actually kinda like the wheels, even though they are totally and completely wrong. I’m with you on the floor shifter though, and those gauges screwed to the bottom of the dash.

The wheels do somehow go with the scoop, but I’d want whitewalls. Seriously.

All the dash mods need to go, starting with the shifter. I wonder if there is a reason why the new trans won’t work with the column shifter. I know the selector pattern is different ( Reverse is at the bottom on these cars), but that’s no biggie.

I’d leave the wheels and put on raised whites, because I’m a classless heathen.

I’m sure the column shifter can be done, but it will require some custom fabrication.

Holy smokes...this is a thing I want very badly. I’d even keep it pretty much as is. I sometimes want to watch the world burn , so I love the wheels and the scoop . The floor shifter is...not the most wonderful look...but definitely not a deal breaker for me.

Problem is finding room for it.  With 1 in the garage (2-car, half filled with lawn mower, grill and workbenches) and 2 in the driveway already, and a newly-gifted motorcycle on the way...

There is a bit of a Mad Max vibe with this one.

Buy a cheap shed at Menards, throw all the garage crap in there, buy this car!

But first measure your garage. This    car is almost 19 fee t long.

I’m sure connecting the column shifter would be a pain but I really hate that floor shifter in this car. Cadillacs from this era should have room for 4 in the front seat without working around a shifter.

Ruined. 549 is fine but the hood scoop is garbage

You could find a replacement hood, although the scoop is there to clear the air cleaner and ( non working) compressor.

I’m a little surprised that a newer Cadillac V8 required cutting the hood - and I’m pretty sure it * is* possible to get a 472/ 500 under the stock hood ( which is what that 549 supposedly is).
